In the Mid 1980's research and development of an electronic ionization system began. LiquiTech perfected and patented a process that releases a potent ionized biocide into liquids. The process is effective against bacteria including, but not limited to Legionella, Listeria, E. coli, Pseudomonas, M. Avium, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Anthrax and many forms of algae with relatively no impact on humans or the environment . In 1989 the first hospital electronic liquid disinfection system was installed and continues to be effective today.
The ever-critical Healthcare industry provided an ideal arena to demonstrate the efficacy of our systems while maintaining the safety of the water quality without chemical byproducts. While undergoing extensive scrutiny, our systems have achieved unprecedented success. Over the years LiquiTech systems have been the subject of numerous peer reviews, studies and evaluations making us the most evaluated and proven solution available. We currently have over 500 systems installed in the most prestigious and proactive hospitals across the nation.
Our systems have evolved throughout the years continually improving the capabilities and functionality. Our latest generation Liquidator® series is the most state-of-the-art system available. With it's Closed Loop Proportional Control Technology it is able to precisely control the amount of ions released to match the demand to ensure the system does not under or over ionize. The Liquidator® series is the only system smart enough to run itself.
